Suction systems with a wet scrubber

Wet abatement suction systems designed by Astra are used where other systems are ineffective. In general, scrubbers are used for the reduction of:

• VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) soluble in the killing fluid
• VIC (volatile inorganic compounds)
• dust and fog in low-concentration
• odour substances (compounds of an acidic and/or essential nature)

Sometimes, reagents are used to remove pollutants through chemical reactions.
