Coalescing suction system.
The filter section is divided into two parts:
- the first consists of a chilled water cooling coil that condenses part of the oils to reduce the concentrations of VOCs and VOSs
- the second part is instead that of the filter with coalescing cartridges
The total flow rate of 30,000 m3/h is guaranteed by a fan with a 90 kW motor.
The entire system, including piping, has been sized to withstand a negative pressure of about 800 mm H2O due to the high-pressure drops of the coalescing cartridges.
