The plant sucks from different points along a waste drying and shredding line. In the presence of explosive dust, the system has been sized with these parameters:
Kst: 76 bar*m/s
Pmax: 9 bar
The plant has been divided into four parallel-working modules of 50,000 m3/h for logistical reasons.
The filters are off-line cell type to facilitate hopper dust deposition during the sleeves’ cleaning phases.
Diverters with a vent membrane have been installed on the suction ducts to convey the pressure wave from a possible explosion to the outside.
The filter discharges are entrusted to augers with relative rotary cells.
Four fans guarantee a total flow rate of 200,000 m3/h, each with a 75 kW motor.
