Filter cartridges were chosen for this system instead of the sleeves to reduce the filter size. Cartridges can be used with this powder type if the filtration speed is less than 1 m/min. The filter is designed to treat potentially explosive dust with the following characteristics:
Pmax = 10 bar
Kst = 300 bar*m/s
In the event of an explosion, five venting membranes have been installed on the filter’s roof according to the EN14491 dust explosion venting protection system and EN14797 explosion venting devices. The powders are discharged via a flame-proof rotary cell that is compliant with EN15089.
We have installed an explosion isolation flap valve d.700 on the suction pipe, which complies with EN16447 and EN15089 standards.
The system’s total capacity is 30,000 m3/h, guaranteed by a fan with a 55 kW ATEX zone 22 motor managed by an electrical panel complete with modulating inverter.
