The purpose of the system is to send the air to a predetermined temperature for the cooling of 24 electrical panels. To protect the panels from the aggressive internal atmosphere, the air is taken totally from the outside and will undergo the following treatments:
- In summer, the air is cooled to about 26-28°C to avoid condensation phenomena
- In winter, the air is heated up to about 20°C
The air is sent, through two manifolds, over each of the 24 panels, where the internal fans suck in it.
The flow rate of each panel was measured at about 750m3/h, for a total flow rate of about 18.000mc/h.
