The plant sucks from different points along a waste drying and shredding line. In the presence of explosive dust, the system has been sized with these parameters:
Kst: 76 bar*m/s
Pmax: 9 bar
The filter is an off-line cell type to facilitate dust deposition in the hopper during the sleeves’ cleaning phases. A diverter with a vent membrane was installed on the suction duct to convey the pressure wave generated by a possible explosion to the outside.
The unloading of the filter is entrusted to a screw conveyor with a relative rotary unit.
The total flow rate of 75,000 m3/h is guaranteed by a fan with a 90 kW motor.
