This plant, which is located downstream of a wet pre-abatement system with subsequent drying, provides for:
- 2 activated carbon filters are divided into four modules
- 2 fans working in parallel inserted in a soundproof cabin
- 1 chimney complete with a sampling nozzle
Each carbon filter consists of a pocket containing 2,500 kg of coal, which is top-loaded using a hatch and unloaded from below using a valve.
