Suction and filtration system of 40,000 m3/h for powder paint production lines

The system has a 40,000 m3/h filter coupled to a fan with a 75 kW motor.
This system has been sized for potentially explosive powders with:
Kst: 300 bar*m/s
Pmax of 10 bar
In this case, no protection valves were installed on the suction pipe to contain any pressure waves following an explosion, but a diverter with a vent membrane was sent to a safe area outside.
The filter has six venting membranes that comply with the EN14491 dust explosion venting protection system and EN14797 explosion venting devices.
