Suction and filtration system from 40.000 m3/h for a press

Suction system on a mechanical press. The system consists of four hoods (one on each side of the press) with a high suction speed to guarantee a residual speed of 0.5 m/s at a 1 m distance. Due to the presses’ geometry, we could install the hoods at a closer distance.
The filtration section was made with corrugated mesh metal panel filters. A centrifugal fan with a 22 kW motor guarantees a capacity of 40,000 m3/h.
