In the presence of potentially explosive dust, the filter has been sized with the following parameters:<\/p>\n<p>Kst: 247 bar*m\/s<br \/>\nPmax: 8 bar<\/p>\n<p>The protection systems compliant with ATEX regulations are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To stop the pressure wave and the flame, a D.450 isolation flap valve compliant with EN16447 and EN15089 was installed on the suction pipe.<\/li>\n<li>\nA vent membrane, positioned on the filter&#8217;s roof, compliant with EN14491 dust explosion venting protection system and EN14797 explosion venting devices<\/li>\n<li>\nA flame-proof rotary cell compliant with EN15089 on the filter discharge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The system&#8217;s total capacity is 15,000 m3\/h, guaranteed by a fan with a 30 kW ATEX zone 22 motor managed by an electrical panel with a modulating inverter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Filter cartridges were used instead of sleeves to reduce the filter size in the system&#8217;s design.
